Wire Tree Workshop
Sandi is a local teacher living at Buckhorn, Ontario. She has been making, teaching and
selling wire tree sculptures for a number of years. Sandi uses interesting rocks gathered from the Canadian Shield as the base for her beautiful trees. She encourages people to bring their favorite rock to use as a base for their sculptured tree. Sandi's rule of thumb is the rock needs to be smaller than your head and bigger than your fist.
Sandi offers wire tree courses in the summer and the winter. If you join the summer course you will have an opportunity to enjoy a meditative walk through the forest, soaking in the magnificent trees that are all around us and often taken for granted.
If you join the winter course you will have an opportunity to snowshoe, cross country ski, or kick sled your way through groomed forest trails to enjoy a soft wilderness experience in the snow.
Whether you join Sandi for a winter or summer course you will be spending time at Nichol's Cove Studio, the working space of artist and hostess, Carol Nichol. Carol is an artist who sculpts and paints. She will be your hostess and Sandi's assistant.
For registration and cost of workshops, see Sandi's website at

If you are interested in workshops other than the above, please indicate your interests. We have a variety of workshops planned throughout the year.
